FREE help for left-handed computer users

Options
Mauricio Tejada in Japan has produced a clever utility that allows you to instantly swap the mouse buttons for right- or left-handers.

If you share a computer with a right-hander this will allow you to change the left and right button over by just pressing Ctrl-F12 instead of going through the Windows Control Panel. It also sets left-handed mouse pointers and cursors.

I have to use a left-handed mouse a lot at work, as my colleague is left-handed and he always sets the servers up to be back-to-front.

I've gotten used to it now and can cope with either seamlessly. We've left them left-handed now on purpose, so people don't accidently click things they shouldn't on the servers!

I'm work in IT and am now using a mouse in my left hand (due to bone problems in my right hand) but am using the buttons the wrong way round for a left hander. Weird I know but it was difficult swapping hands in the first place now I can't use my right hand.

I'm left handed but use the mouse in my right hand - just means that left handers are cleverer as it means we can use the mouse and write at the same time.

I think left handers are great although my other half says i'm 'defective':rotfl:
  • I am left handed too and have to have my mouse on the left of my keyboard and I get really annoyed by finding it on the (wrong) side. The buttons don't bother me though. But thanks anyway. Strangely enough my left handed DS uses the mouse on the right.

I'm ambidextrous but usually write with my right hand and mouse with my left - but with the buttons set right-handed. Just can't seem to get the hang of a "proper" left-handed mouse!

    Clever program, though.

I'm left handed also, and I cant see the need for software like this. I think it would be confusing now, I'm happy using the same mouse setup as the righties :D

I'm the same, I used my right hand for the mouse. I'm known as a "left handed freak" It's not my fault the majority of people are abnormal right handers!!! Out of all my family, aunts, cousins etc theres a pretty much 50/50 split of lefties and wierdo righties.
