Changing drs

Does anyone know how you go about changing from one drs surgery to another . Do you need your medical card, can't find mine! Any advice would be great:)

When i moved to belfast I just gave them details of doctor I had at university (last registered) and they did the rest. I got new medical card from new docs.0

Deffo dont need your medical cards and it should be done in a couple of days, I changed docs when I moved a couple of years back, and I never had a medical card at my old docs, but they gave me one when I had changed.
