They will be showing on the website from midnight.

Thanks, I know that. I'm about to do my weekly shopping today and was wondering whether it would be worth waiting until tomorrow.

I have got a leaftet at home, but I'm not there at the moment. There wasn't really any offers that stand out.

Ok, then I will go today as planned. Thanks for your reply.

Just seen the weekend offer for my local store (Fife) only 3 half price items this week.
    Chicken thighs @ £1.32/kilo pack
    Red peppers @ 40p each
McCoys ridge cut crisps @ 94p/6-pack

I am more tempted by the meatballs @ £1.29/12 pack, its only 20p off but they are so tasty and can be served with just about anything.

Any suggestions for something different to do with the meatballs? I tend to just do a simple tomato & spinach sauce, but fancy a change. :)

    Squash/flatten them and make mini-burgers??
    Make kofta style kebabs??
I only really use them for pasta bakes and only but when half-price (74p) - long overdue at my local Lidl!!

I cut them in half and roll them again and use them in chilli or pasta dishes, I cook them and have them with a salad as well, I even have the smaller balls with Chinese and Indian sauces, I also do as Lynsey suggest and have them as mini burgers.
Last time I had them with chips and baked beans, very basic stuff but good for all that :)

    Bump.

Cheap sausages day for those that have this offer.
Chicken thighs seems the other choice for some at least.

I'm saving pennies for next weeks bacon.

am now stocked up on sausages!! Am looking forward to the bacon next week, there's a recipe for a cheese and bacon lasagne that I want to try, but going to wait to get the cheaper bacon!
