Anyone heard of "Inchinnan" for mobile phone recycling?

Hi

I emailed LG to ask if I could send back my (very) old mobile phone and charger for recycling.

They answered:

"Thank you very much for your email regarding your U300 model handset.

Based on the information you have provided me with and reading through your query, I can advise you that though you cannot send your handset directly to LG for safe recycling you may send your handset to Based on the information you have provided me with and reading through your query, I can advise you that Inchinnan who is a sister company of ours who provide this service. Their number is 0141 812 111."

However, a google search on Inchinnan shows it to be a town in Renfrewshire, and the phone number is the correct area code for that town, but the number doesn't come up with anything on a google search.

Has anyone heard of them, or has LG fobbed me off?
