Hiya,
I can not be the only one with this problem. All the usual stores that stock petite range seem to think that if a woman is short.. she is also skinny and has no ermmm bust.
I am short, 153cm but top size 14 and bottom 12. I really do not like massive flowery patterns. I am 40+ and look for plain coloured, classic look nice quality clothes.
Can anyone reccomend which shop/online may have a decent choice?
I know all the usual like Next, Wallis, Principles etc etc but most have patterned clothes and I really do nt like patters...
Thanks a lot....

Hi OP,
I`m a bit younger than you so I can still get away with stuff from Zara ( their 'ankle gazers' trousers are actually the perfect lenght for my 155cm and do not look like they are meant to be cropped when they`re on, if you know what I mean) .
Got a selection of jeans from Next/Matalan/Miss Selfridges , and don`t often bother with tops made specifically for petites and just buy whatever fits/looks good . Debenhams have a decent range for petites, I have a couple of their cardigans and a lovely coat.
I struggle the most with dresses , so tend to just buy and get altered if I really want it.
Asos.com also have a nice selection for petites and Sainsburys do workwear in petite ,along with loungewear and knits .

I but all my trousers from M&S in short length they are the only ones that fit my short legs(27").
I buy tops from anywhere most size 10/12 fit me.You live..You learn.:)0
