We are only a few weeks away from launching CrowdZoo and getting you involved in online discussion groups for rewards.

Before CrowdZoo gets started, we would like to tell you about another online activity that you might like to get involved in.

LivingLens is a new tool that enables you to record and upload your views and opinions on a chosen topic so that the people who work for your favourite organisations and brands can review and download your thoughts to share with their research, development and creative teams. We are looking for people to do this using a webcam or an iPhone 4/4s (or another phone with a forward facing camera).

Topics will include things like:
• Doing my banking
• Shopping and fashion
• Phones and technology
• Pregnancy and young children
• The internet and social networks
• Finding or switching insurance provider

What we’d like you to contribute...
For most of the topics, we’ll need you to record about an hour’s worth of content over a month, provided in small chunks, just like you would for a real diary. (Please note: Because of the nature of the topics, we will need less time on the banking or insurance topics.) We’ll also need you to upload each entry you make to our secure website. As a thank you for your contributions (no more than 1 hour, per 30 days) you will receive £25.

Once you’ve indicated that you are interested, we will let you know when we would like you to start contributing – this might be within the next couple of weeks or we may schedule your contributions in the next month or so. Either way we will keep in touch with you throughout and there will be more information and support nearer the time.

We will provide you with clear instructions on how to contribute to LivingLens via web based presentations. Before your contributions start we will send you a link to this via email.

We will then need to check the quality of your first video or two just to make sure that you are speaking clearly and can be clearly understood.

What you need to do now if you are interested...
At this stage, all we need is for you to let us know that you would like to be part of the study. To do this please check you are comfortable with the following requirements:
• You know how to use a webcam or the video function on your iPhone 4 or 4S (or another phone with a forward facing camera)
• You are comfortable with uploading content online
• You are comfortable and willing to talk about a topic of interest
