Oh dear had a terrible day today. Sent of £10 to Northern Rock for a list of charges. They cashed the cheque and sent the details to me today. No charges paid to them, so £10 down there.
Had bump in car last October and had to pay £350 excess, had letter off insurance today to say bump was my fault and won't get any money back! GUTTED0 -
My week isn't going great:
- Still got this customer report haunting me - I won't be back working on it until Friday as I'm at another site tomorrow.
- I took out the NS&I ISA as recommended by Martin
- I transferred some tax money into my high interest account
- I completed my timesheet and expenses and submitted for authorisation - should get paid by mid-March.
- I chopped up the peppers and carrots in the bottom of the fridge and froze them to stop them going off - the rest are going in my stirfry in a mo.
- My new desk arrived today - its the smallest desk in the world, but its a desk and so I spent a while  ff'ing my way through the flat-pack but its done now - looks like the picture but I have some nuts and bolts left
- I (hopefully) have got rid of 2 x PC monitors and a wooden pallet on Freecycle (at last!)
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Phoned to cancel a credit card which I paid off 2 weeks ago but they said I have to write to them to cancel
