Okay folks. I know I haven't been around as much as usual and no doubt have missed out as a result. Going to try and get myself back in line and in order (please feel free to send me electronic slaps if needed).

Reason is a good one mind....had a lot going round in my head (and still have tbh). We're on the edge financially and have had some news.

Pitter patter of more diddy feet in October. And after my 2 Miscarriages I've been a nervous wreck. Now I know that splodge is ok....its the money stuff that is worrying me like mad. However, with a 5 year old and one on the way there's nothing much I can do about that except be here and be as thrifty as I possibly can.

So any prods, slaps, suggestions gratefully received. Will try to keep my feet on the ground and in here.

    congratulations!!! :j:j:j another MSE baby!!!

think the free huggies offer has finished now, but sign up to as many 'baby' companies as possible, as soon as possible to start collecting samples and mocs and stock up as much as possible in advance!!

Also, on the main grabbit board, theres a thread about Vtech baby toys cheap on Ts direct...might be worth a look for a xmas present!

My tip ... stock up during the sales on clothing....buy a couple of different sized summer clothes in the winter sale, and vice versa....the way the weather is in this country, even if the summer clothes are too big he or she will be ok to wear them during the warm winter and the too big winter clothes he or she can wear during snowy April!!!

    Good luck!!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Okay. Just contacted M&S about the 25% Australian Wine Discount not coming off this offer to be told that the order had already been processed and that the discount did not come off because it was already part of the clearance deal. I argued the case that the website was misleading because it didn't state that but they weren't budging. Am really annoyed. The only way to cancel the order now is to refuse delivery when they try to deliver and then it will be 3 - 5 days after that for them to refund me.

What would you do? Would you try & take this further or just leave it?

    Thanks for any advice xx
Thats a real shame, work out the price and how much it would cost you in the supermarket, its possibly still a good buy.
Take care what you do on the way up, it may come back at you on the way down.
    Kindness costs nothing.

    Morning all,

Hope its a good day for everyone today :)

rchddap1 - thats lovely news congratulations :D - and you will manage I'm sure if you tighten your belts and look out for baby bargains....try not to worry about it too much (easier said than done I know!!)... I didn't know how we would cope financially when we found out we were having twins - its a struggle but somehow you just about do manage!!

    I can second that ... literally! :T:T

I had already decided that if they deducted the £5 from my refund, I was going to ask for replacement voucher to use when I re-buy the "correct" item/s as otherwise it would mean I'd lose out on my next shop......and see what they made of that!

Thats precisely why refunds of coupon values are meant to be on a giftcard. :)

Anyone notice that on the A website the pic with products at £1 includes Copella but when you search they are charging more for it
