I would like to offer a great big enormous THANK YOU to all who sent me kind words both publicly and privately – I was a blubbering wreck! Please be patient it will take me a long time to thank you all!
I am almost back to full health now which means back to work properly next week (I did a few days this week and have to admit to be shattered!)

But 1st an important note;
Sorry Tiger this isn't aimed directly at you but it just so happens that you've just posted about it. I don't want to harp on, many of you will probably remember me saying about this before but please please please will you make sure that you use coupons for the EXACT specified product....the Palmolive coupon is only supposed to be used for Palmolive Hygiene Plus 300ml
If you don't buy the correct product, as far as we know and as the coupons ALWAYS state, the retailer will not be reimbursed for the value of the coupon therefore the retailer is at a loss. This is one of the reasons why retailers are often critical and scrutinise coupons to the letter. Ultimately this is only going to lead to more troutings, less coupons issued and less retailers accepting them.
This has been mentioned a fair few times on the thread in the last few days, using coupons for other products, and I've kept schtum but I think it's time to mention it again due to the recent influx.
Again this is not aimed at anyone directly, it's just a word of advice about allowing everyone to continue to benefit from coupons.
I am by no means an expert with how a retailer goes about acquiring the money from the suppliers for coupon usage, whether they can be backdated etc etc BUT incase they can't and the retailer is at a loss, isn't it better to just use them legitamately? Especially with something like Palmolive which is a FANTASTIC coupon, allowing many of us not only freebies but money off other shopping!
Yesterday I used a JTD coupon in my local T's on SS. I live in a fairly small and what I would call middle class town, and I was appologised to for the delay but she insisted on reading everything and matching the receipt as there has been a lot of coupon fraud recently. JTD is a bit off topic but it just goes to show that this is happening everywhere and while it's nice to know you've saved a few pence this week, why jeopardise short term saving of pence for long term savings of pounds?..... :beer:
Don't hate me please:A

Hi fudge cake, I think you are right about using the coupon for the exact product. I have used a few today, but I made sure I bought the exact product. Just as well as in two stores, the coupon wouldnt scan. I didn't have a problem but they did read the coupon thoroughly. It would have been embarrassing too if they had been refused, because they were the wrong product.
Would like to keep under the radar as well.0 -

At the top of every page I access, there is a huge great list of everything on MSE which I have to scroll down to get to the top of each page of posts. It's driving me potty!!! Can any kind person tell me how to get rid of this list, and get back to normal page view pleeease.Sealed Pot Challenge No 9 516 target £250
