    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
    Hi all

I think I'm coming down with flu and have been up all night with lo who is also full of germs, so wouldn't nornally go out but if any of you Surrey based locals find the 1p hearts could you let me know where please as these would be great on the sweetie table at my wedding. Thanks in advance

I'm so far behind, why do the schools have to let them have two weeks off!!!!

Hugs to those that need it.

When you start saying what can/can't be spoken about it either gets peoples backs up or puts people off joining in as they don't want to upset others.

I'm not having a go at anyone I'm just trying to view it form a neutral point, as I don't support any team and watch about an hour of TV a month but if I was a sports fan and my team had won I'd not think twice about mentioning it :D

My suggestion was not to dictate what people can or cannot say, it was to add a title to warn others what may give something away. Not the best solution I agree and possibly a little too onerous for some, but hey it was only a suggestion :)

Anyway, I don't want to cause an argument, complete opposite of what I wanted to do, ironically!

Just been perusing the T's FB wall (again!) and looks like they are starting to get a bit pee'd off with all the price check questions. Someone is asking why it's not working and quoted the bit about having to resubmit the details.

They got the charming reply of 'Let me assure you that the Price Check system has worked for you as you have received an email response regarding your results.'

    :eek::eek:
Now, maybe it's just me, but that sentence doesn't read too well! If that was the reply I got I'd be :mad:

Im waiting for 2 from last weekend both should have £20 each... grouse was £24 is T's and £14 in A's. So I bought 2 lots of 2... seems like its gone forever!!!!!

awwwwwwwwww Im feeling rough today, I think Ive got the flu... yesterday I couldnt get warm, today Im sweating cold sweats!!!! :(:(:(:( I dont like being ill.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    Morning to All ..

what colour are you after F ?

    Good morning class.

Think that if people do not want to know the score they should shut themselves in a cave. To expect others to censor themselves is pure selfishness.

The pillock comment was bang out of order, Glitchhunter would do well not to upset the fair maidens of this thread.

Maybe it was a metaphoric slip of the tongue and he really meant Pollock " slaps self in face with wet fish".

For my fellow wombles, this is cheap and handy :

Actually, just before I go can I say:

SpiralingDown - hope your appendix has calmed and have you got news on your house keys yet?

Nikkilala - lovely to see you back and sounding upbeat. Take care to keep resting a bit until your arm is properly heeled though.

JJ - Your poor mum, and dad too. Hope today brings an improvement.

To others, too numerous to mention - keep smiling :).

*Had* to pop into T's on way to work... and got a lonely Thornton's choc devil! 1p! 80g bc/ 5423 bbe 2/2013!!

Sadly the nests of hearts were scanning 50p.
Was at a SS till and the guy came over to take them away.. and I said- sorry, annoying customer is annoying... can I just check these other two things??

So HE put the Thornton's devil through!:money::eek: ... and when I sheepishly asked if I could have it, and he said yes I was thrilled!!! :D
The other thing was a box of giftwrapped Lil chocs and scanned £9. I politely declined! :rotfl::T:rotfl:

wish I could go back and have a better look, but gotta work! :A
