Don't see why not, I've used leeks instead of onions in dishes before, obviously it wont be exactly the same but you will hardly notice any difference.

    Morning all!!

Am off to Mr T's in a while and I am going to try and get some of the meals from St*ckp*rt. Lets hope that Dave doesn't winge again at us having a freezer full again!!!!

Quickie- can you use leeks instead of onions when cooking a spag bol?? I have tonnes of the blooming things, with a mound of minced meat. CBA googling recipes and Baby Grohl is throwing her breakfast all over the kitchen!!!xxxx

Hi, have just been in St**kpot and unless they have restocked, there are no simply left.

Also none at all in H.Dean.

As to spag bol and leeks, yes I often do. HTH

Hi, it is definitely working for me in 2 extra stores, you need to find another store.

I got mexican chicken ones this morning. No sign of the tikka masala or signs, but I am happy enough with what I got.

They must be clever in your store then, seems to be working everywhere else.

    Morning all :)

We've seen before that they can and will adjust their tills at store level if they spot a glitch

To those of you who put in 'wombles' over the weekend, have you got your results back? as every time i put the details back in, all i'm getting for all of them is:
Unfortunately we cannot locate your receipt details on this occasion in order to price check your shopping. This problem only affects a small number of customer shops, and we’re really sorry that this has happened to you.
Please accept our apologies, and hopefully you will be able to check your next shop at Tesco.
