Morning all laid here wide awake trying to get my head round the fact that im going to go through another eye operation. I saw my surgeon yesterday and he offered further surgery to deal with my central vision which is distorted in my right eye.My first op was not successful so he wants to try something else. You take your eyesight for granted until ptoblems start. Im quite scared and things always feel more scary when you are in bed thinking about them. I am also thinking of the lovley folk on here going through so much worse like 3 dogs such a brave
Wonderfully positive person I really admire your outlook on life. Well sorry for the moan peeps I feel quite sorry for myself at the minute but will make a real effort today to be upbeat and less glass half empty outlook on life.

Cattysmum was it you who had to spend some time laying down post op? I was wondering how you were getting on. I am VERY short sighted so at increased risk of detached retina etc, I don't take my eyes for granted. Try not to worry, at night things always seem worse than they actually are. Whatever happens, you will cope because you have to, we are stronger than we think.

Its been a while since I posted on this bit, and its only to say I am sooooo excited at finally getting my first double the difference!
Anyone near Tesco R**nham (london/essex border), The Orginal Source shower gels are still showing as 'price dropped' to £1.50 and BOGOF. But when scanned go through at £2.20 and BOGOF. I'm well chuffed!

Almost as good as the Sainsbobs glitch last month, I think we have about 2 years worth in the Garage.
  • Just back from T's and can confirm that the Simply Add glitch is definitely still working, bought several at 7:45.

Sorry to hear this cattysmum, sending hugs to you and hopefully they'll get you in quickly. I know what you mean about eye ops and thinking about them late at night and not being able to sleep. Hopefully they'll get it sorted this time xxx

  • That sounds like a load of rubbish. Did you go to 'Settings' > 'Wifi' > 'ON' and select the Tesco network?

Yes, it said tesco wifi in there but when I tried to open a page it said you are not connected to the Internet. On my old phone I had to put in my clubcard the 1st time I used it instore but this time I don't have that option
