Popped to the rugby club for a couple of jars before moving on elsewhere. They have a michael buble act in the bar, glad we didn't pay, he's absolute garbage I bet the people who have paid are gutted :rotfl:

I've only just started the book, (Allen Carr's easy way to stop smoking) but other's have raved about it. Give it a go, I paid about £4 for it on amazon or play.com. (Can't remember which one now!) It has to be worth a punt if you're finding it difficult.

As for it being no laughing matter, deal with things in your own way, if it's easier to laugh, then laugh! I think you can only manage the situation in the way you find easiest. I've seen plenty of support here for quitters in recent months, I'm sure they'll help you as and when you might need it. I'm available via pm anytime if you want to rant, need some words of encouragement or whatever.

Think of the money you can save for your wedding! :T:T:T Congrats for this too!

Got to be worth a shot at less than the price of a packet of fags!!

I believe the value range is being rebranded so they are selling off some of the old packaging at reduced prices. Decay placed a bulk order because he didn't think his delivery store carried any value items. He was counting on them substituting what he ordered for more expensive products because they don't charge you more for substitutes on an online order

Ufortunately they delivered everything that he ordered! :rotfl:

He'll be having mushy peas for breakfast, lunch and dinner for weeks :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi all...
Still waiting for the price check from my good shop on Monday.

Thought I would share a little story...
5 years ago we started to seriously think about our finances when we totted up the year's curry bill... I was pregnant and we had spent £730 on take out curry in those months!!!:eek::eek:

Since then lots has changed, thanks to Martin and this thread, and tomorrow we are feeding the extended family on a budget of £30 (which is extravagant :D) On the menu is:

2 whole salmon (yes, half price and then whoopsied)
18 chicken legs (40p for the lot!)
broccoli :D (we did get through 5 of 9 this week!) (free!)
12 bags of tender salad leaves (10p a bag)
    6 bottles of M&S wine (£2.70 each)
and an Easter egg hunt for the kiddies (about £2.50)

So... THANK YOU! for encouragement and like those who gave up smoking- we all make changes to improve our lives in different ways... can't say I ever smoked, but SO GLAD I don't waste money like I used to!

...Off to have some of my finest 25p pizza! :D

Haven't had any from Tuesday yet. 3 that I put in on Monday came back this morning. I think they must be clearing a back log. I'll expect my Tuesday ones tomorrow! ;)

Thanks to Loving Tesco Forever for the PM about the Simply Add glitch. Have managed to get a few. The shelf was pretty much cleared though so I am guessing a few lurkers have got there before me. Lindos not sure if you have managed to get any or if you want some but I hid the last 4 so if you or any of the other regulars that use the same Extra as me (and if you are a regular you will know by now which one that is) PM me and I will let you know where they are.

Oh and guess what to bump up the shop the Twilight saga 3 film DVD just happened to fall into my trolley :D:D:D:D

    Off to catch up now

Evening all - I've had a non stop morning then came on this afternoon to catch up on 20 pages after I'd put DS down for a nap. He had other ideas though .... hence why I'm only back now!!

Forestroxydog - none of my 3 price checks have come back since Tues.. going to re-enter via IE and keep pressing back/submit (again!!) so will let you know if/when they appear.
