    Please dont get me started!! I fall out with companies all the time who charge extra / don't deliver to the Highlands. Or the ones who say 'free delivery to mainland UK' then when I put in my postcode, I'm no longer classed as being in mainland UK :mad: The thing that gets me even more annoyed is that I don't actually live in the Highlands, I'm in Grampian but have an IV postcode. I get stuff delivered to DHs Granny or my Mums cousin who both live only a couple of miles outside this postcode.

    Sorry for the rant, just drives me mad!!
    I could rant all day on this subject, so I'll not even start ;) Really, really drives me mental!

    :j I'll take that as progress! :D

    :mad::mad:
    Me as well and I live closer to Aberedeen!
    Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    HI gang, cheer me up, tell me a joke ...anything!!
    Got caught up in the Homebase sofa fiasco and they have cleaned out my credit card, cancelled the order and won't even talk to me....
    Its my sons 21st at the weekend and I can't even collect his pressie or food as I have no credit left, wouldn't me so bad but I uppedthe limit last week and they have managed to order six sofas and charge me for them all.

    That's awful. I really feel for you. How have you contacted them? make sure that you put it in writing in an email. I don't know what else to suggest.

    I'm here:j.....but I've just finished catching up and my eyes are sooo heavy. LO has just gone to sleep:eek: I'm really trying to get her bedtime earlier, she is 6mth now and sleeps from 1am till 10am every night. I put her in her own room on Saturday to see if that would help but so far it hasn't!

    Afternoon all :)

    I had the same problem with DD1 as a baby. I gradually started waking her slightly earlier each day and she did eventually adjust. It's so tempting to leave them when they are asleep so that you can get on with things though!

    I'm sure it's just part of their make up though - she's 18 now and still a night owl, whereas DD2 is just the opposite!

    oh dear Wendy, what a pain. Is it worth ringing your credit card company instead of waiting for Homebase to refund you? Send a shirty email to one of the top dogs in Homebase too...Hope it gets better sooner rather than later...

    nice to see that goody bags are starting to arrive

    This must all be costing SSM a fortune...recorded delivery for the vouchers, courier for the parcels, not to mention the cost of the products and vouchers themselves!

    *hopes my yodel dude is lazy and doesnt get to my house until after 5pm*
