You'll be for the high jump! I've missed you lots. Lovely to see you back but take it easy. No long posts. Your mother is lovely too. x
Ah thanks Issy, promise not to make any long posts. My mum has been truthfully amazing, god knows what we've have done without her, tomorrow she is going to attempt to blowdry my hair for me as I'm sure she's mentioned the sagas we've had with it;)I cannot tell you how bad my withdrawal to T's is becoming:(Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

My Dad died on October and we always said he was like a little Robin. My sister bought us all a metal Robin watering can as part of our Xmas present in his memory. A few days ago one appeared in my Mums garden just as a chap we hired to do the garden came. We all jokes it was Dad coming to oversee the work. So I really like your pic.
:A Awww that's absolutely lovely:A
I know it sounds a bit silly but the larger of my 2 dogs reminds me and my Mum so much of my Great Nan. Her character, the way she acts, they would have got on like a house on fire! My Grandfather used to call my Great Nan, Nelbert or Elbert (her name was Ellen) and my larger doggie is called Nala so she always gets called Nalbert:D
I've been to a car boot sale this afternoon and have bought a Karaoke Machine:D
Husband and son have now decided that I have finally lost the plot completely....but I don't care, I quite fancy singing along to Abba :rotfl::rotfl:
It's like brand new and it's even got a little video camera so you can film yoursef performing (not a la Dirty Den, I hasten to add!!)
Has anyone else got one, and if so where do you get the CD's from?
It's got the Abba one with several tracks and the ketchup song on it's own disc....but I'll need a few more to broaden my repertoire :rotfl::rotfl:
:T:rotfl: Loving it! :rotfl: :T As far as the CD's I'd check Ebay first as it's one of those short lived things people have probably bought and never used. Also a friend of mine downloaded a fair few tracks and burned them onto a CD herselfSpiralingDown wrote: »All hell's broke loose up at hospital, baby's dad tried to get in at this time of night!!!!
He demanded to be let in to see his son but the other kids on the ward were asleep and so was my cousin so as they had never seen him before they refused to let him in, and quite right too otherwise some stranger could do the same.
He ended up being removed by security but he then went in by A&E to get to him and barged past the nurses as they were leaving the ward. He checked in every room, opening all the doors so one of the other dads, who was staying with his own kid, lifted him and took him out of the ward for the nurses. By this time everyone on the ward was awake, my cousin spotted him and told the nurse who he was but security told them both that he wasn't going to be allowed to stay on the ward at this time of night.
He got in to see the baby but then refused to leave, he phoned the cops saying the nurses were taking his baby off him!!!!
Eventually the cops arrived, listened to what had happened then told him he'd have to leave by himself or they would have to lift him.
What does he expect, the kids wards settle them down by 8pm so no one is allowed to enter the ward after that time, my cousin's only there because she refuses to leave her son.
Making me angrier and angrier the way he's getting on.
:eek::eek:That's shocking behaviour SpiralingDown, I'm so surprised at your patience for someone so disrespectful and selfish. What a terrible shameI can only hope the story will have a positive outcome.
Also I don't think I quoted your post earlier saying that the baby is doing well. So pleased to hear that, poor little mite :A'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

Says in concerned but stern voice - Your recovery is more important at the moment.I agree, if you are feeding 8, omg how could you eat all those spuds? If someone put that infront of me I'd not be able to eat any of it as I'd not know where to start

Well that's the man and cat sized version.
For a laydee, I would do away with the boiled potatoes altogether, only have 5 roasties and a couple of sausages. I'd add some (cooked) carrots and another veg. But I must say I'm impressed. I wish my DH could cook like that....or cook at all evenMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
