Whilst mentioning books has anyone read the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella, very funny and elements that I am sure we can all relate to. However she is not as much of a bargain hunter :)

:j I sooooooooooooo want to be Becky Bloomwood! :j

Another one where the film failed to meet the fabulousness of the book (but I do love Isla Fisher :))
Evening elite :D Happy easter to you all.

God some people make me sick to the pit of my stomach, I can't believe how some people behave/react. Son wants contact with bio family so he set up Facebook page yesterday and found his dad and uncle and let's just say his bio uncle was disgusting beyond belief to him. :(

A grown man saying these things to a 16 year old kid who has Autism nice!

:(:(:(:( That's heartbreaking, your poor son (and poor you too) Hugs :Axx

All hell's broke loose up at hospital, baby's dad tried to get in at this time of night!!!!
He demanded to be let in to see his son but the other kids on the ward were asleep and so was my cousin so as they had never seen him before they refused to let him in, and quite right too otherwise some stranger could do the same.
He ended up being removed by security but he then went in by A&E to get to him and barged past the nurses as they were leaving the ward. He checked in every room, opening all the doors so one of the other dads, who was staying with his own kid, lifted him and took him out of the ward for the nurses. By this time everyone on the ward was awake, my cousin spotted him and told the nurse who he was but security told them both that he wasn't going to be allowed to stay on the ward at this time of night.
He got in to see the baby but then refused to leave, he phoned the cops saying the nurses were taking his baby off him!!!!
Eventually the cops arrived, listened to what had happened then told him he'd have to leave by himself or they would have to lift him.

What does he expect, the kids wards settle them down by 8pm so no one is allowed to enter the ward after that time, my cousin's only there because she refuses to leave her son.
Making me angrier and angrier the way he's getting on.

I have an intresting question for you all....

Remember last week when we were all waiting for the late price checks to come and they eventually turned up 4 days late on the Thursday.

Well I've just had an email saying

The thing is I have already recieved the voucher, it was my big one for £13.XX. Has anyone else had this happen??

I'm obviously thinking it's not a good idea to input the details in again and let them send me another one... :A

Just thought it was rather strange.

    ETA:

So I put the details in again just to see what would happen and the results came straight to my inbox another £13 JTD.
still catching up so may have been said already.
has it got a different bar code?

Said with pursed lips in her best Les Dawson voice "Thats what you get from slithering up and down poles all night wearing next to nothing but a pair of high heeled gold shoes....she'll never get the grease stains out of those whites""
