all three children have offered DH and I bits of their choccies before they had any (awww!- we did refuse :A )

I think after this week of fud, I will be on the broccoli diet for 1 meal a day

...and my pet peeve is 'ffff' instead of 'th' ... working on this one with DS2 who still can't quite get his tongue around his own name! -can't really complain as I talk Americanish, and so have lots of work to do to learn proper English!

Feeling a bit down

Kids are at their dads for Easter so missing them lots

All my friends seem to have forgotten about me and haven't bothered to ask if I am ok or want to join them

At the end of the day I know it's their Easter and family time etc but.....

Anyway whine over - feel better just for writing it out

Are non food type shops open do you think, was hoping to pop to Next clearance?

You need to do things that you wouldn't normally do when the kids are around, really spoil yourself.

Morning - Sorry, Next closed. Nearly all the shops close two days a year - Christmas day and Easter Sunday.

You may find some of the smaller shops open, eg Tesco express of course. Not sure about B&Q or the likes.

Think the garden centres may be open. HTH
