She is suffering from a self imposed (or hubby imposed ;)) ban from MSE and Mr Ts :(

I think mine may be doing that to me soon too, judging by the amount of cleaning things we now have and a freezer full of food (that'll be me trying to use my MOC of £5 off £40 each week - oops!)

Wanted to say sorry to all of those whose M & S wine orders have been cancelled, I thought their stock system was pretty good, obviously not. :( Hopefully the rose and white orders will be ok as seems it is just the red ones I have read about being cancelled so far. Fingers crossed FK and any others waiting. Feel rather guilty I got all of my order of red. :o

Please don't feel guilty - I am just grateful of the opportunity - I will keep an eye on the site and see if an Auz wine comes up on the offer this week - if not, well, I prefer white & have had an e-mail to say that the white I'd ordered is on it's way - just hope it's nice or I'll be doing a lot of chicken in white wine meals lol

I'm sorry too - I've got mine, not so impressed with the Merlot, the Pinot Noir tastes better, tonight I will try the white one. Probably they'll cancel my Ros! order:eek:, since expected delivery order is scheduled for 18th of May:cool:

Please don't be sorry (and thank you very much for your PM :heart2:) Mine was the Merlot - if it's not so good, maybe M&S have saved me money after all lol. Fingers crossed your Rose arrives

Oooh and huge congrats Dr Karlie

I asked on the other thread too about whs gift cards....I have seen he odd post here and there about them but couldn't put it all together IFYKWIM?

Has it stopped now? If not any guidance on what to do would be great please :A
I didn't understand the 25%. Did you get an extra £5 on your card and 25% off the price of the card? Just a bit confused.

basically WHSmith have a promotion on -when you buy any greetings card you can purchase a £15 gift card for £10

So an initial outlay of £10 +cost of greetings card and you get £15 back on a gift card

use that very same gift card to do the deal again.....buy a greetings card, ask for a £10 gift card promo for £15 and use the card you were just given to pay........and so on

depending on how expensive the greetings card is (they have lettered coding the lower the letters the cheaper they are) the bigger the profit you can make on each card but usually its between £3-4

extra bonus is today i noticed the till was taking a extra 25% off the price of the greetings card at the till, so even better!! The 25% wasn't advertised on the shelves and the gift card promo isn't advertised on the shelves either but it is still on:T:T

some stores received an email when this first hit MSE and hotdeals as peeps were taking it to the extreme and they stopped letting you pay for a gift card with a gift card, trick is to find a store or an SA who isn't aware of that;););)

My advice is as Looby suggested to take it slow and steady, few cards at a time, don't want to ruin a good thing;););) plus i'm just warming up and need to catch up to Looby and co (ok maybe never:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Sorry, I disappeared after my last post again - you've now given me pages of posts to read and another 10 on this new thread!

Just as I finished the last post this afternoon, there was a loud bump and crying - my youngest had climed into her big sisters bunk bed then fallen off! Thank God nothing's broken, but scared me to bits!!! The two of them have come down with a bug today too - great timing for the school holidays and the awful weather! Looks like I'm going to have trouble getting online as much as usual for the next few days - going to spend what online time I have trying to get some SSM posts done I think, but will try and keep up here if you don't natter too much ;)

can anyone help me with what the whsmiths gift cards are??? pretty please :A

There is an offer in WHSmiths that if you buy a greeting card then you can also buy a £15 WHSmith gift card costing £10. If you get the right SA then you can buy another greeting card and gift card with the original gift card and so on, till you have loads and loads of WHS gift cards :j then next time you pop in, again if you get the right SA, you can buy stamps and phone top ups with all your gift cards :D and of course more greeting cards and more WHS Gift cards :rotfl:

OOPS just realised somebody has explained while I was posting and done a much better job of it than me lol
