Night before the wedding - bride staying with me, chief bridesmaid

Hello,
I am looking for some advice/ideas of what I can do for my best friend on the eve before/morning of her wedding.
She will be staying here at my house with me, my daughter and her daughter.
For the evening I was thinking a nice light supper, not sure what. Running her a bath and giving her a card with a sixpence in.
For the morning I thought about a champagne breakfast with friut and pastries before we go and over see the venue being decorated then back here with the other bridesmaids to get ready.
Any suggestions would be great, thank you

What kind of suggestions are you after?
For tea I would be thinking fish or chicken, going easy on the carbs.
The bath sounds like a good idea, that's what I hope to do! She will probably want an early night, so maybe take care of her daughter (don't know how old she is) and let your friend have control of the remote! (I know I won't get this- my parents can't stand American tv, which is generally all I watch!)
For the morning, it may be best to have bucks fizz or something less alcoholic... There will be plenty of alcohol the rest of the day.
It may be nice to find some of her fav music to put on when you are all getting ready, a compilation as such...
Hope that's the kind of thing u r after....:T0 -
This sounds soooooo lovely!!!
My bridesmaids are staying with me at my house. We're going out for dinner, then I am planning on having a chilled out evening including a nice hot bath and a glass of bubbly. I also have bubbly for the morning. 3 of my friends couldn't make my hen do, so sent my bottles of bubbly, 2 of which I saved for the big day (6 days! Eeeeek!)
I would say though, try to help her keep calm and not to get too emotional. I know if anyone's too nice to me I will cry!!!First date 10.2.2002
Engaged 18.8.2010
Wedding 9.4.2012
Baby #1 due 26.2.2014 :j0 -
Don't forget the manicure, pedicure, last-minute waxing, touching up roots and deep conditioning etc. You could perhaps organise a massage as well? You'll all want to look in tip-top shape on the day.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
"No man is worth, crawling on the earth"- adapted from Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio
Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

Depending on the length of the ceremony + photographs + reception, I'd plan a pretty big breakfast! When I was bridesmaid for my cousin's wedding, we had a cooked breakfast at about 9am as the meal wasn't until the evening but there was a 12pm ceremony, then photographs, then drive to the reception!0

Thank you all for your replies, I dont really know what suggestions I am looking for but you have all helped. I would really just like to know what you would like to do/people to do for you the night before and morning of.
I would also like to give her a keepsake of some sort, thats why I though of the sixpence, as the poem says
Something old, something new
Something borrowed, something blue
And a silver sixpence in her shoe
she has been saying she has all the other things but not once mentioned the sixpence.
Again thank you all for your replies0 -
I don't have much to say that hasn't already been said but I wanted to say you are a lovely friend and bridesmaid for doing this0
