I think you're getting confused with the Boots Review Panel which is different to this one.

you have to wait 6 months to be able to find out what it is.

Do they e-mail you to let you know what it is after 6 months or do you have to ask yourself each time?

    Just received this email.

    Dear Sarah

Thank you for being part of the Boots Volunteer Panel.

We rely on our volunteers to help us develop great products and we can’t do it without you!

Over the next 6 months we have a really high demand for younger female volunteers to test new cosmetics and skincare ranges and we need to recruit to meet the demand.

We are PARTICULARLY interested in LADIES, AGED 18 - 30 who have OILY, DRY or SENSITIVE skin.

If you know of anyone who might be interested please can you forward this email to them?

Damn, was excited for a second there, but after filling out their lengthy survey they've said I'm not what they're looking for.

They said exactly the same to my son's girlfriend as well, she's at uni in notts, and would have been able to do their paid study's too, I wonder what they are looking for

IMO probably looking for a marketable to type; someone with spending money, which is going to be (given the cuts to the youth of today weather its tax credit cuts, student fee increases or mortgage/home buying increases) someone who is born into money or someone who has won money.
Most who have earned enough to be laughing at that age are either starting their own business, family or planning and saving to buy their own home. Few will have money to burn in that age group!
