Hi everyone,
Just finished reading yesterday's thread. :TWell done Yargo :T, that debt free feeling must be fantastic! And Wannabee, your wedding cake sounds fab!
Today I am shattered, wish I was going to work! Today all our friends are getting together for the Easter picnic so must start making sandwiches. There's going to be around 15 kids so good job it's not snowing here.
So the plans are:- NSD unless petrol price has miraculously dropped. Filled up so should be good for a few weeks.
- Must check return date on library books. Oops
- Check bank accounts.
- Meals from stores.
- Check fleabay.
- Babysitting tonight and will be paid in chocolate! Friends husband is poorly so I get to go to the opera! Never been before. He's giving me his ticket so will buy g&t in the interval:)

Good morning.
Already I'm starting to wonder how I'm going to keep myself occupied for the next week with hardly any money, a depressed boyfriend and the kids. It's a case of finding something to do in miserable weather that doesn't cost much.
Little list:
checked banking
washing done and on airer
flylady
try and have a low spend day
try and talk to OH without having an argument
Year 11 coursework marking
meals from stores
Hope everyone is having a better start to the day than I am.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
Wannabee_in_credit - Do you have any artsy crafty pieces at home? Could you maybe do Easter themed stuff, like painting egg shells? Making easter treats (like choc cornflake cakes etc)? Or do an indoors Easter egg hunt (with smaller, cheaper eggs that you can buy a load of in one bag)? Depends on their age though - I'm not sure how old they are, sorry.
I hope your day gets better!
I have sent payment for OH's Birthday pressie. Shhh, don't tell anyone, but it's a handmade Superman comic book clock (I hope this link works like I expect it): http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=10150670249778558&set=a.10150494775083558.379617.676678557&type=1&theater
I checked Hotmail. No response from Experian yet.
Also found the workplace assessment contact for a colleague, who has just returned to work after breaking his collar bone whilst skiing! OUCH!!! So, that's my good deed for the day done.

Hi everyone
Still on the straight and narrow, posting here to keep me there!- Checked banking - all ok, Quidco payment (£42.09!) has arrived so straight into sealed pot - have about £340 now.
- All meals & snacks from stores - blind baked pastry case and sliced leek/gruyere this morning at 5.30am to speed up quiche making tonight
- Free coffee on train from home, free coffee and cake at lunchtime in the Virgin Lounge
- Maybe walk over to Waitrose to pick up the free bag of Plum crisps - or pay the 10p to get them from Tesco!
- NSD hopefully (had one yesterday apart from £1.97 on food which I'm not including)

I logged back into my existing account I have with you, which was set up years before I left the UK, paid the 14.99 to see my credit report, and then found the credit report to be empty.
The reason it is empty is because my current, Dutch address is not on there. All my existing UK financial products, have my current, Dutch address (not my old UK one). However, I cannot update my address correctly, because it will not let me enter any address which is not in the UK.
This is not a typical situation, I understand, but neither is it that uncommon with so many expats around. So I am hoping that you (Experian) have a solution for this.
I just wanted to check that everything was OK. If I can't, and this address issue cannot be resolved, then I would obviously like to receive my money back because I have not received what I paid for.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
