Tuesday 3rd April - What Small DFW Things Will You Do Today??
kjp
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :money:
Morning all!
Today I will:
Check banks
Check credit cards
Check TCB
2lts water
Food from stores
Log food with calorie counter
Horrible exam!
Bit of OU this evening
Send off HMRC form to claim back difference in mileage
Post test item
Wrap some birthday presents for a friend
Look into travel insurance, usually just go for cheapest but after having cause to use it a little while ago, and having an awful experience, will look into it a bit more!
Drive economically, have to go to to work then back on myself to college, so light right foot!
NSD maybe, need snacks for work but might do that on way to work in morning as will likely need petrol tomorrow....
Yargo1 - congrats on being debt free!!!
Perni - hope you got the response from the wedding venue you were waiting for!
Think that's it for the day, for now, have a great one!

Morning All!
Didn't do much last night in the end, so list for today is:
- Check banking
- Lunch from stores
- Dinner from stores
- Washing
- Dish washing
- Fold and put away clean bed clothes
- Hoover rugs.....yes still
- Try not to catch colleague's cold!
- Pay for one of OH's Birthday pressies (it's not til August, but I found it last night and it's brill! Plus, buying now means spreading the cost!)
- Check Hotmail account to see if Experian have come back to me on query. If they can't provide what they've promised, then they can refund my money!!!
OK, I think that's it for now. Dinner will be scrambled eggs on toast (or strangled eggs, as OH likes to call them! lol). One because he has requested it, and two because there are 1 or 2 eggs which need eating before tomorrow! lol
Hope you're all having a good day.
Yargo - has it sunk in yet? Does it feel real? Being debt free must be amazing!!!
