I am another one who keeps flour in the freezer and also nuts so that they don't go rancid. I buy veggies in Aldi on super six and freeze it straight away, this week I got 6 packs of mushrooms, 6 broccoli and 2 kg carrots all washed prepared/sliced and frozen (I don't bother blanching and have never had any problems) Also keep an eye out at closing time on your market for bargains.
HM bread dough is another filler and lots of cakes and cookie dough to keep the kids happy.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Thanks for all these great tips, I will be filling it up with whoopsey bread etc when I see some, in the meantime I'm going to go with bottles of water for now as have some empty plastic bottles to hand and then I've got a bit room ready for when I see special offers.
There is no issue so small that it can't be blown out of proportion0
