Beauty schools reduced prices in Glasgow

Hi all,

The Rainbow rooms training academy offers cheap haircuts since students at the academy cut your hair. Does anyone know if there are any beauty schools in Glasgow which do a similar thing, with beauty treatments done by students at a reduced rate?

i had a £3 haircut from a first year. it was fine but very very slow going
the teacher made sure it was ok at the end. call first and make an appointment

the rainbow rooms on great western road will give a reduced price for 'models' but they often want to be able to do some creative 'far out' styles. i have seen similar notices up at different hairstylists from time to time.

I think they do this at Cardonald College at a cheap rate, seem to remember one of the tutors telling me about it

The Nautical College (now City of Glasgow Riverside campus) have a twice weekly clinic in the late afternoon/evening as well as during the day for various classes the sudents take (nails, waxing, massage etc). Give the main switchboard a phone and ask to be put through to the beauty dept for details.

I beleive the Met College (now City of Glasgow College something campus) do the same thing during the day. give them a call and you will get all the details.
