Hi
We are currently in the process of buying first house, solicitor instructed and searches paid for and under way, offer accepted on 10 Feb we are meant to exchanging on 16 March eek!, the mortgage application went in on 17 Feb with lloyds and was told we were being fast tracked 2 weeks tops, phoned yesterday to lloyds for update and apparently a administration error had occurred!, valuation not even done yet, would be contacting EA today to make arrangements for this week (valuation), and then should receive mortgage offer
Being realistic, how long usually does it take between valuation and morgatge offer being received, and should I let me solicitor know or the EA there might be a hold up, dont want to worry unnecessarily, I know the above is a quick timescale, and what will be will be! but just wondered and also when do you usually set up life assurance, we have appointment arranged for 10th March, are we cutting it fine??

With C&G you should be fine. They were really quick with our offer on our last mortgage. Just make sure your sols are doing searches etc alreadyThere are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0
