Went to Spain for 8 days last month, drew out 400€ in three installments and used the card in several shops. As soon as we got home I paid £500 and have just got the statement showing 63p interest.

Yes, crazy innit when a credit card is better for cash withdrawals than most debit cards. It's now my main card for UK spending as well (although not for quids-from-ATMs) - get a bit, give a bit and all that - long may it last.0
