Im currently trying to study some certified courses...I dont know if they can count for student loans which I doubt. Infact Im not with anyone right now, Im studying the material myself and just gonna pay for the exam.
I need about £2-3k. Im not sure of my credit rating though I assume its bad as I failed to cancel a gym membership properly and has been late for monthly payments before. I dont have a credit card. I've only been at my current job over a month and its only part time of 20 hours a week.
Anyone knows if I would be able to get a loan at all? I dont mind the interest rate as I plan on getting a full time job afterwards and start paying it off slowly...however I just need the money right now. And oh, Im living with parents right now.

Hi Marv, welcome. Am a little concerned at your post as to me £2-£3k is not small, especially as you only work part time. Couple that with you saying that you don't mind the interest rate and I feel that you could be setting yourself up for a whole heap of trouble! So that the guys on here can help you properly, can you say what you need it for, how essential it really is, and what disposable income you've got. Also I would advise getting a copy of your credit file first to see where you are up to.0

Basically I have a freind in the city who has work for me. I want to finish this course and the course+exam fees will cost me roughly 1k. Now moving into the city I will also need to put deposit on flats and probably rent for month upfront...that could cost anywhere from 400-800£. Im pretty confident I can pay it back easily cos after the course, about 1month after loan I will be on a full time job earning £17k p/a to start with. Now with no other debts or big bills to pay off, no car insurance, credit cards etc (except mobile phone contrat) paying off the loan monthly shouldnt be too much of a problem and I feel that its a very good investment. Im on a part time job because I need the extra time for my studies...and since my studies is not with a uni/college or even with an organisation I dont think it qualifies as student loan either, just self studies and paying for the exams.
I just wanna know if its possible with my current situation, 1 month into the job, part time earning 500 p/m.0 -
Then I should look at moneysupermarket.com to get an idea then take it from there. But be careful!0
