Jam Pan RUINED????

Need advice please..i have in my wisdom soaked some whites in my aluminum maslin pan WITH BLEACH, worked wonders for my whites but now the inside of my pan is tainted. Have i ruined my wonderful pan? I could kick myself, OH told me he had read about soda crystals not be used on aluminium but i didnt even think it could ruin the pan using bleach :(

Not sure what a 'maslin' pan is so my advice may be completely wrong....would you think of soaking it in bio washing powder, bringing slowly to boil, leaving to cool and then washing thoroughly, this was the method I used to clean stubborn aluminium pans before I moved to stainless steel.

    Hope this helps....
