If it was to cost around the same I would prefer breakfast to be included and I would prefer a buffet style breakfast.

I think it all depends on what your appetite is generally like at that time of day.

We've stayed at this place a couple of times when taking the scenic route into North Wales...

...and we paid only £29 a night for a very comfortable double.
Breakfast wasn't included, but for a £fiver each you can have an optional buffet breakfast to die for in the hotel's pub restaurant.

I would prefer the breakfast to be included to be honest as it sets up the day and you can get away with missing lunch and whatnot. I've just booked a b&b with continental breakfast but you can pay extra for full english. I don't eat full english, but whom I am going with can pay extra for it. I like to chose, I normally either have crossiants/bread rolls/toast or cereal.

Although if I stay at a travelodge we normally get breakfast from where ever is nearby,

I'm not a big breakfast eater so I'd go for the lower Room only rate.

I'd have the breakfast, I'm always hungry when I stay out.

I'd prefer the buffet one too, as I like only 1 sausage but plenty of tomatoes.
I prefer tinned toms too, more to dunk the toast into :)

    (I want some now :D )
