Always makes me laugh that a company like Connells is owned by Skipton - A mutual - Who states this on their website:
"With customers at the heart of everything, Skipton Building Society provides savings and mortgage products, whilst maintaining its roots as a Mutual Society"

The practices of Connells are hardly in keeping with "Roots as a mutual society".

After further complaints I did get another cheque from Connells to settle things correctly. :beer:

I have a lot of time on my hands so kind of enjoyed the battle with them, but it is sad that others are likely going through similar and being ripped off by them, possibly without noticing it. The way they tried to scam me at each and every opportunity along the way does say a lot about them, and I would urge anyone to think very carefully before getting involved with them.
