I saw a clip last night of a interview with an economist, the journalist asked " is this a crash or a blip" he responded "ask me friday and I might have a answer"

I guess we can only wait and see what happens for the rest of the week and next week.

What i dont understand is how America went green when the rest of the globe went red did the goverment start buying in bulk to try bring back confidence?

So where do we go from here? Rate rise to support the pound or cut to support the 'real economy' (aka asset price inflation).

I think if trading tomorrow is more of the same it will be a hold and see.

Up to 10% is a "correction", 20% is a "crash" - FTSE was around 3,500 4 years ago... (equivalent of 3,200 if you exclude dividends), so still doing better than that plasma telly you bought 2 weeks ago...

    Well, only 3 more days.

Still not sure what will happen. Anyone read in the papers the mad profit the banks made? I feel very jealous as I don't get salaries like that.

Well I guess Merv and his mates have a Very Very good feeling that inflation isnt going to top 3% before May, That or they are going to put in a raise next month to save themselves by the skin of there teeth again.

Personnal I wouldnt risk it when thats the only target your tasked with.
