Quality of food after being frozen?

I just wondered if freezing food immensely changes their taste / texture. For example, does milk that has been frozen and defrosted taste the same as fresh milk? What foods have your found don't freeze well and which foods don't taste any different from when frozen and defrosted?

When you've done batch cooking and frozen it, does the quality and taste of the food stay the same when you defrost it and cook it again?

I would say that most things are fine when defrosted sometimes things like gravy can look a little gloopy but after being heated through properly while stirring they are fine, things like milk , butter cheese etc should be fine as well.

Soft fruits like raspberries, strawberries etc can break down a bit and be a bit soggy so these are best used in cooking or in smoothies etc
