music/book hamper

Thinking of doing a hamper. The person is in their 30s, into books and music. Not sure whether to mix themes.

Any ideas?

I done one for my boyfriend for our first xmas. I got guitar tab books, normally £20+ new, I got some on eBay.. 6 in total, I started in September, as I knew I would get outbid on some.... as he has a guitar, and I was definitely not buying him a new one, lol, I got him plectrums, and cheap tickets to a concert, again they where booked months in advance! Some CDs, musical autobiographies , I picked a genre (Indie type music) and worked around that.
I was on a really tight budget, but as i started really early and stuck to my guns with bidding amounts, it ment what I got looked good, and looked as though it cost way more than what I paid, just under £100, yet the books alone should have been £120 minimum ....

Find out what their fav band is, and either go 'fan' crazy n collect everything they have out, or do like me n go for similar bands.

I think music and books could mix together quite well - ie some nice chilled music to listen to while reading!

Could do things like a book, cd, nice bookmark, one of them book lights, chocolate/sweets .... All wrapped up in a nice hamper!
