I have developed the above which I do not know if they are called frown or furrow lines. They seem to be getting deeper and deeper (don't know if too much staring at computer screen is cause or my age - 45). Has anyone got any ideas of how I can make these seem less obvious, I have a fringe but it does not go down low enough on forehead to disguise the lines.

aka as the elevenses?
Age seems to do it.
Botox? I've been slathering mine in assorted serums and it seems to be helping.0 -
Aldi's Wrinkle Stop is not half bad. Seems to reduce those particular lines quite well if you use it daily, less so if you're forgetful (I forget how much I frown, so you can see the problem)
Also, bought some Nanoblur (from Boots) to try today. Reviews are mixed but I'll see how it works for me.0 -
Facial exercises (don't laugh) may help. (Some of) the older version of FlexEffect (a well regarded programme on some skincare forums): http://mcan.wrytestuff.com/swa64477.htm
Might be worth a try. I'm a more visual person..the videos for various programs are out there if you know where to look. The updated (third) version of Flexeffect has a few extras, with skin and bone massage added.
Carol Maggio, Eva Fraser and Carolyn's Facial Fitness are others that get good feedback, though it can be a bit hit or miss as our faces are all different. The downside is that it takes persistence and patience, literally months, even up to a year to see big improvements.
Preventative skincare is your friend too. Sunscreen *every day* from now on. Retin-A at night if your skin can tolerate it, I start off doing it once or twice a week and building up; it gets you very flakey in the beginning.
And of course, there's always good old botox0 -
Do you wear specs? If you don't get your eyes tested, if you do make sure they are reactolights. also make sure you wear sunglasses or reactolights when driving or any other activity that causes a glare.0
