I would give them to your children and let them decide, I think its a lovely thing to keep your childrens teeth, I steralised dds and keep them in a special little pot, they don't decompose so there is no problem, I also have a first lock of hair that was cut and yes, I have her cord clamp, again steralised and put away, its all part of her early childhood that she has little or no recollection of so I can help her build a picture:)
Thank you for this site Martin

I don't know anyone who kept the umbilical stump for example but that's much more unique and significant surely?

I kept all of my kids umbilicus. They just dry up after time and shrivel to next to nothing.

The kids think its hilarious but stop short of asking to see them. I guess i will dispose of them at some point rather than leave them for someone else to hurl over after my death.

I did start keeping the teeth too but 5 kids, 5 lots of teeth it was inevitable that they would get jumbled up so i couldnt see the point in keeping them.

Ive got a lock of my hair from when i had my first hair cut at 12 months old. Mother gave it to me about 5 years ago.

Aww just pop them away somewhere. In years to come when they have their own kids they'll probably love seeing their parents baby teeth!
