Wii games suggestion

Me and my flat-mate bought a wii and have played wii sport for some time know and getting a bit board of it.
So does anyone know any good 2 player wii game?

Excite truck has two player mode if you like non-realistic but fun racing games.

Wario ware - Smooth Moves has loads of minigames and it is good fun to take it in turns to complete the levels.

Red Steel is a shoot em up that has a multiplayer mode.

Super Monkey Ball has loads of multiplayer minigames.

You could also try some Gamecube and Virtual Console games.

thanks for your response s.j.cooper. Which game would you recommend? I was thinking of the NFL game (EA sports).

Also with Redsteel is both players playing at once?

Madden NFL is the best game i have had on the wii. Get it as soon as you can!

Warioware is good...for my money just a little better than Rayman, which is also good in multiplayer. But, you might want to rent these 2 as the single player games are very short.

I would avoid Monkeyball and Need For Speed - not very impressed at all.

I really want excitetruck but its still a bit pricey on ebay at the mo'

I have not played Madden as it does not appeal to me, but it is supposed to be good if it is the sort of game you like.

I have not played the multiplayer on red steel, but it is played at the same time against each other - I don't think that there is a co-op mode to play through the game in two player which is a shame.

My local ASDA has excite truck for £28 - I've not played it.

What sort of price are you looking for? I got it for £27.77 from Asda and it is a bit cheaper online at a couple of places using the discount codes.

Wait for Mario Party 8 to come out at the end of March and buy that, I love the Mario Party titles!

There are soem cracking games coming out over the next few months. I am really looking forward to Battalion Wars 2 - I hope that it is online multiplayer!

The Gamecube has some great multiplayer games and they'll work on your Wii (you'll need to pick up some gamecube pads though). You can get great deals on them preowned at gamestation.
