glad you getting round to sorting out your debt, i have started last month,

try setting yourself a deadline to be debt free, even if it is a 5 year plan,

try getting rid of the mint card as it is the highest interest rate, and also try, paying a little extra even £10 of the others, once the mint card is out of the way then you can, use it to help the others along,

you will get loads of better advice on here than you will from me. but welcome to being a debt free wanna be,

Firstly well done for you LBM!!

A couple of suggestions, the magazine indulgence could save you a fair bit. Have you tired looking online, lots of the articales and info are also put on their webistes. Or there are celeb gossip websites that will send you a daily email with all the latest (if that floats your boat).

Are you really sure that is what you are spending? Do you really have that amount left at the end of the month? If not, I would do a spending diary for at least a few month. This has two benefits, one, you will see exactly where your money is going, Two, when i did it i found i stopped myself from buying frivilous things as i didn't want to put them in my spending diary.

Re beauty products, if you have really been spending a lot every month, you should have a big stockpile. Ban yourself from buying anymore until you have completely run out.

    Good luck

PS, I would also encourage telling your partner when you are ready, maybe wait until you have it figured out a bit more and show him what steps you have made so far and what your plan is going forward, he may be able to deal with it better.

Well done on getting rid of the Argos debt Coco. How have you been getting on with cold turkey on the magazines? And toiletries?

Keep up the good work. And remember, when you feel disheartened (because you can't do it as quickly as you'd like) or overwhelmed (because there's so much advice to take on board), come on and tell us. Have a moan, ask advice - just share the load.

We're all there or have been there and we know what it is like. We perhaps can't give consrtuctive advice or even advice you want to hear, but just knowing that other people are going through it too can make the world of difference.
