mis-sold life and ci

Options
I have a life and ci policy on a decreasing term which is upin 2016. I took this on when I took over the mortgage when my ex left. I no longer have this mortgage but am still paying this life premium. I don't no why I took this out as I have no dependants and get full pay from work for accident and illness could I claim for mis-sold?

Critical illness cover does not overlap with any of the things you have mentioned. So, that part doesnt appear mis-sold. Whilst you are single and have no dependants (and that includes anyone living with you who may share bills), you have no need for life assurance. However, the cost difference between standalone CI and life and CI is often so insignificant that many people will include it. Sometimes it is less than £1.
