HSBC Lost Paper Work

 I’m not sure if this is the right forum but me and DH applied for a mortgage with HSBC and the customer service has been a disgrace from day one. Anyway they eventually rejected our application ( 4 weeks after applying) and returned half of the wage slips etc but seem to have lost the employment contracts we sent to them. Is there anything we can do apart from obviously complain? We are in a hurry to get these back so we can progress with our application that a broker is pursuing for us. Damn I hate them they have been such a nightmare this saga has been going on for over a month now :wall:
