Do low paid jobs not get advertised online?

You get the odd one on the job centre website, Cleaners etc, but on the likes of Monster, Jobsite.co.uk nothing. When I say low paid I mean in or around the min wage, I am after something just to tie me over in the mean time but nothing ever appears which makes me wonder. You see these companys advertising Office Managers, Technical assistants etc but never anything on the bottom run of their ladders

I don't think many employers want to pay to advertise such jobs on these sites when it is easy to get enough applications locally for free through jobcentre/word of mouth etc.

I see loads on direct gov, but these jobs i'd say are in the whole snapped up from agency workers.

Local shop has advertised for P/T shop assistants with a sign in the window. Quite a few shops, cafes and pubs in the town do it that way.
