The lack of mortgage knowledge on this thread is astonishing. If people are not qualified they need to learn to be quiet.but leave your judgement at the door.

I will judge heavily those who seek to advise people badly on something they have no experience nor understanding and don't you dare suggest I don't.

I'm suggesting you don't, nothing daring about that at all! So what are you going to do?The first place you'll find is a sleaze-pit called Bartertown. Now if the earth doesn't swallow you up first, that place sure as hell will!0

Nothing, I'll just continue to come across as someone who isn't a total moron and uneducated idiot while you dig yourself a hole.
Take care and let's try to not detract from the thread, I only came to point out how some members should not be allowed on this forum. The J is a Financial Advisor-This site doesn't check anyone's status and as such any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice. Fair enough, so you are a moron, just not a total moron?
As for digging holes, why did you not just say your bit without attacking other people who took the time to respond to the OP? Regardless of what you think, other people have different life experiences to you and perhaps some have seen or tried the arrangement the OP speaks of? For instance, I tried an arrangement with my ex but in the end things went sour and money was poured into the wallets of solicitors. Had I listened to my head instead of my heart then a lot of money could have been saved plus a lot of bitterness avoided.
Others have also put in their 2 cents too!
Finally, the OP made the decision to tell the board about their personal situation, this is a public forum and folk are free to comment! So please, don't hijack threads with your high and mighty judgements and don't blanket attack everyone for taking the time to give what maybe good or bad advice! The first place you'll find is a sleaze-pit called Bartertown. Hand bag to one side, the issue here you are missing and I mean completely missing is that people gave advice on this thread as fact.
It was factually incorrect and therefore The J had every right to state please do not post if you are unqualified or in any doubt.
I have no issue with people sharing emotive tales and to talk about the issues with this, although the OP did not say anyone think this is a good idea. It was asked if it was able to hold 2 residential mortgages - YES and therefore people coming on saying no, no, no do need to understand that if the OP had not logged back in they would have had poor information relayed, which is worse than no information.

Considering I wasn't even referring to you (The Road Warrior) in my initial post I must say it is surprising how much you are on the defensive.
In fact, you were specifically one of the people who pointed out the financial, legal and emotional effects without passing judgement.
Now you are coming across as childish and are belittling your original point. The J is a Financial Advisor-This site doesn't check anyone's status and as such any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice. Just a second, so we're all to sit back, get blanket blamed and when one of us disagrees we're then labelled a 'moron'? Is that what you agree with? I know the guy or bird plugged you on the reply but you only have to repay that by thanking them back eh?
And then they announce:I only came to point out how some members should not be allowed on this forum.
Seriously? You've completely missed the point yourself! The first place you'll find is a sleaze-pit called Bartertown. Now if the earth doesn't swallow you up first, that place sure as hell will!0 -
Its a Friday and its sunny.
This is not going to solve whatever ongoing issues you have, nor the right place to air.
I'll not post on this thread again, unless the OP asks any further specific questions on topic.
Road Warrior get yourself some sun and relax...
