I'm surprised nobody's started this yet.

A pound to drive in to lift people?
Taking greed to a whole new level.
It's been a while since I heard anything so moronically stupid.
That's usually the domain of NI politicians.
No bandwagon politicians yet either? With an election the way.

What's our options folks?
I'm coming from Antrim side, so I can park up somwhere.
What about using the hotel to lift people?

Let the airport staff
come and gather all the baggage trolleys.

I agree, as a regular user I find the place a mess these days. Complete bunch of moneygrabbers. However at least its cheaper than the City if you actaully want to leave your car for a few days. They both need heads bashing together

The last time I was at Aldergrove they stated that you could be at the car park for 15 minutes free to drop off etc. However the clock that stamped the ticket was faster than the one at the pay station so you only had 2 minutes to drop off - nice sneaky little earner there!

So, if you are just pulling up at the door to drop people off or pick people up you have to pay? Ie, you have to pay even if you don't go into the carpark?

I didnt know about this. It does seem rather greedy. I'll just walk with my trolley right to the far side of the car park and meet someone on the main road.

Just had alook at the belfast international airport webpage. Seemingly you are NOT actually allowed to pick people up at the door. It's only a drop-off zone!
