can i recycle old pans?

Options
Hiya

I have an old set of 3 stainless steel pans with wooden handles. i've had to replace them, as the handles are VERY wobbly, and not able to be repaired. anyway, at the moment they are just sat in my kitchen coz i dont know what to do with them- seems a crime to throw them in the bin. Ive tried freecycle, but had no replies, so I was wondering if anyone knew if they could be recycled? and if so, how/where?

thanks
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I have some larger SS pans, Tankgirl, including a colonder, use them for cleaning the veg straight from the garden. They stay out all the time on the patio table. will never rust, occasional wipe over.

There are uses for old pans provided of course that you have the room to store them..
    Pet Feeder/water
Measuring composts and sand in the garden
Paint tins drill a hole each side and put some wire through to hang and a hook to hang on ladder.
On the the BBQ to name a few.
