Hi martin
please could you help. my mum and dad thought they had an endowment mortgage but on completion of there mortgage the company said it was house insurance. They paid £35 a month for 15 years. In them 15 years they never received any policy documents or renewal documents. they took this policy out back in the eighties and in them times £35 was lot of money especial for house hold insurances only. please could you help with this matter

So what is it your trying to achieve?
Was the mortgage cleared in full at the end of the term or was it interest only? If it was repayment i would say your probably in a better position. If its interest only then obviously your not but tis a case of proving it and i suspect there will be some paperwork with their signature on.
