has anyone used this BREVILLE Halo Health Fryer

Have just saw the advert for this at currys, but have never seen or heard about it before, so has anyone got one or used one?

I assume they are similar to the actifry. I have previously owned the family actrifry but the inner ring snapped under the warranty period, then had trouble getting another one due to it always being out of stock, then managed to get another one off line however, when we opened it, something was rattling inside the base unit, so sent it back, has didnt want to risk using it. So far still awaiting to replace it.

I have seen the air fryer, but this has limited use to the actifry and I assume the breville will have similar use as the actrifry.

Thanks in advance

  • Hi.. i thought the same so took the plunge and got one and it's well good! I used to have an actifry but I think this is better as you can do tons more stuff in it! my chips came out perfectly it get hot straight away and the inner stirrer thing turns them so they get crispy on every side, but you can also take the stirrer out and do chicken and stuff too. It has a roasting rack and i did fish on that and you can do sausages and things. The bowl turns as well! I also really like that it lights up inside so you can see how its cooking, which i couldnt in the actifry. I've never had an airfryer but I imagine you'd have to keep opening it to check it and shake it? Plus it's tons cheaper too.. bonus!:j
