Money Return ?
backbeat
I have just been contacted by company called Money Return offering to review my Pension for me. This is well overdue and the pension company themselves are very hard to contact BUT can anyone advise regarding Money Return. Are they to be trusted or just the usual hard-sell merchants ?
Any advice appreciated and as a newbie apologies if any of this is already discussed/sticky

Please dont touch them with a bargepole.
There is absolutely no doubt that they will want a fee upfront.
How could they possibly know, unless they were phishing that you even had a company pension, let alone need it reviewing.
Just dont do it. If you need a review go and see an IFA
How old are you by the way.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Cold call or mailshot? If cold call then steer well clear. Genuine companies do not cold call on investments and pensions.I'm 55 - apparently they can only speak to people 55 and under !!
This suggests that they are not real pension advisers (i.e. FSA regulated) but one of those scams that tries to release money for people under the age of 55. An FSA regulated IFA (which is the type of firm you should be using if you need pension advice) has no such age rule. The under 55 pension loan scams only want to deal with under 55s.
EDIT: I just checked and found this company is not regulated by the FSA. So are not authorised or regulated to give any pension advice. If they did, it would be unlawful and you would not be protected under the FOS or FSCS.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
