I keep seeing people producing template letters for things, but I have no idea where you get them from!

Not sure where they are on MSE but there is one on NAtional Debtline for stopping interest so just change it to charges.

Yep - national debtline sample letters are usually a good port of call for letters or to use a starting points when writing your own.
Aside from that there are various threads with certain templates on them that some of us have saved in our subscribed threads, which is why we can access them fairly easily.
For what you want to send I'd use the national debtline template about asking them freezing interest & just alter it as needed.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Thanks!
It turns out that we're going to need a letter to send to Barclaycard (probably) as they've refused CCCS's new offer of payment. Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568
