Collections Agencies?

Hello,

I have a RBS credit card which due to me not being able to make payments has now gone to a collections agency. I now have at least 3 different agencies contacting me asking me to pay. How do I know which to pay and will the debt definately be cleared if I start paying them?

Any advice would be great.

When did you last make a payment?
What are the names of the companies chasing you (1 may be in house collectors, the other 2 maybe 1 company but different trading names).

When did each last contact you asking you to pay?

Thanks for your reply. Comapnies are:
Lowell Group was the first to get in touch letter no calls.
Moorcroft Debt Recovery Limited - Letters and calls. I told them Lowell Group had already been in touch so not had a letter/call from them since.
Wescot Credit Services Ltd - this week I've got two letters and several missed calls to my homeline during the day.

Last made a payment to RBS about 3 months ago.

It is my understanding that Westcot is a subsidiary of Moorcroft, a sort of distant cousin.

Therefore if given the choice I wouldn't deal with Westcot.
