what about, you say you are reluctant to write to them because of the address issue, for a small fee, have a royal mail redirect from the old adress? AFAIK, no one has access to that part of royal mail apart from royal mail...?0

Moorcroft is one of my creditors and I pay them with my debit card... through Santander Billpay. She'll need Moorcroft's reference number for her account first though.
This doesn't help a lot with your general query but thought I'd put it out there so you know she does have an option apart from standing order...0
