Payplan can't make you do anything.
Have you done an SOA and put it on here?Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -
Hey - well done you.
It is a scary step but hopefully you'll feel much better once you've spoken to them.
Do you have all your financial info ready for the call? list of debts and list of income & outgoings? If not try to work on getting that ready before then.
Given your level of debt I would think they are not particularly likely to recommend an IVA but if they do talk to them about what the advantages are to you over a DMP.
I would say if they do suggest an IVA don't agree to go for it right then, instead say you'd like to think about it first. An IVA is legally binding and so you need to take some time and may well want to discuss it with other IPs as well.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

I know a lot of people who have been struggling and then go on a DMP find they actually have more money to manage on a month, as the income & expenditure will allow a budget for clothes, presents, entertainment, haircuts etc. All those things it can be hard to find money for when you are struggling to keep on top of your debts.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

With CCCS you can do an online budget - you may still want to go with paypal but if you do the online one it will give you an idea of what you be paying and how long it will take to clear debts and what money you will have.Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -

I am on a iva with payplan which was previously a dmp. When on the iva your car cannot be worth more than £3000 so your safe there.0

Hi, good luck with your interview. S/he will ask about all of your incomings / outgoings and who you owe money to, so make sure you have everything written down. xI must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0
